Today was way to much fun!

Beautiful Beth Livesay, Stampington's Managing Editor, came down and spent the day with us girls. All that was missing were two special people, Linda Carpenter and Dyanna Cooley :-(

Beth is so kind, sweet and open hearted. She is in charge of six of the over 30 magazines that Stampington publishes, three of them being "Altered Couture" "Sumerset Home" and "Haute Handbags". She was so complimentary and appreciative of all of our work, and went home with many, many artful pieces to fill her magazines.

We are all so grateful for the blessing that she is in our lives, and I for one know that she will be a part of our existence for years to come :-)

Finally finished.......

I have spent sooooooo long trying to figure out how on earth to produce my new website. I have cried, laughed, and watched my feet swell, after the many, many, many hours sitting at the computer, self teaching web lingo, digital imaging, HTML, and so much more tech stuff!!!
The results are modest, but I am taking pride in my amateur skill, and give myself a brownie button :-)

My Grandfather.......many, many generations past, was Lawrence Leach.
He came over on the Mayflower, was key in ending the Salem Witch Trials....
When so many of us in this country celebrate our ancestry, I would love to pay omage to mine.....one that was of significant importance to this country.
Seeing Blogs in which the owner's dwell in such areas, ( http://www.posy.typepad.com/ ) has inspired me to use my fingers, my creative thought process, to move, move, move...... ahhhhhh
I will be creating pieces reflecting my ancestry, my love of all things British, and my dream of someday traveling to London, England.

The "Blessed Mother" is not only important and real in my life, I believe that she is the closest person to the Almighty Father, next to Christ....... Her Son. Her beauty not only leaves me breathless, but allows me to remember that she was of Jewish decent....Not only one of God's chosen people, but the "Chosen One"....... Chosen to be the "Mother Of God"....... Beautiful. She means the world to me.
